Andreea Nastase
Romanian. Based between Poland and Bucharest, previously London, San Francisco, Amsterdam. Co-owner of a software cooperative with my partner. Mother. Renovating a 19th century house in the countryside.
I spent fifteen years in advertising driven by how people create meaning and what moves them, and how to explain complex things to those who might need them. Then I taught myself to code, spent time in two YC companies, became head of product and then a mother.
Together with my partner I co-founded too Inconsistent. We follow interesting problems wherever they lead, physically and intellectually: from CNC machining one day to encrypted organizing infrastructure the next and going to witness whatever other creatives and creators we like have made. What connects our work is that someone needed something, no one else understood it or them, and to us that is more interesting than saying no.
